I bought a second hand Fobco Universal a few years ago. That and the Fobco Star are really good solid drills, and far better than many modern ones. Just check bearings and quill are in good nick first. Sometimes you can find them at a really good price.
A pal just gave me a Scheppach tiger 2000 sharpening system he had spare, but it needs a new rubber for the drive wheel, and the grinding wheel is worn on a slant. Does anyone know where I could get a new wheel rubber with out shelling out for a new drive wheel, and is the grinding wheel...
Hello, can anyone advise on the best way to re-face the guide blocks on a Startrite 301? Just bought this 2nd hand and it's in good nick, but the guide faces have a fair bit of wear and curve off slightly toward the tips. Can I sort this on a disc sander..?
