    Tights and a pyrex measuring jug, easy clean up and you can check dilution quantities.

    Thanks guys, sorry for the late reply, I got the 8 inch recut to 4, (luckily I over ordered) and they look great, didn't pop out this summer,used the leftovers for window surrounds, nearly finished the East side which is local waney edge Lelandii ! Will post some photos when I work out how to.

    Wood id ?

    Not tried it myself , cut some for firewood , being fast grown it is prone to splits , fungal staining and twist , shrinks a lot on drying, would rough turn it and then wait and see.

    What wood is this?

    Could be evergreen or Holm oak , very dense , prone to radial splits , spalts quickly with soil contact along the rays which can be an attractive yellow , needs long and careful seasoning , turns well , treat as oak.
