In our workshop that men in sheds have kindly been allowed to use we were donated a “Fox” thicknesser but the autofeed chain has broken.
The model number sticker is missing.
So the question is does anyone recognise this model or knows a source for chain spares
😊

A few bits about me
Retired from 40 years working on computer systems and now busy in my own garage workshop.
I build electric guitars from planks and engineer solutions to problems that brings.
I’m a member of men in sheds and that gives me an outlet to get hands on engineering...
I have that model it allows for accurate depth cuts with a digital readout, has accurate laser cross hair centring and good build quality overall I am happy but (there’s always a but) the throat depth is limited so reaching guitar centres is frustratingly impossible. Beware of this limitation.
That was my intention to glue it together again - I used a Dremel diamond cut off wheel to cut down sides. But these crafty designers spot welded the sides to the internals just a nightmare to take apart
Just an update to this
I dremeled the side off the switch and drilled out the plastic welded spots holding the side on. Spotted the problem straight away.
The switch interior was full of compacted wood dust preventing the contacts meeting. I think this dust slowly built up over time causing...
So I have a Parkside band sander - it’s given me many years of good service but the switch has gone defunct.
I’ve looked and looked and can’t source a replacement. Has anyone got an idea where I could find one?
The switch is a sealed unit so I can’t service it.
This raises a further...
