Frank Zappa anyone...?

It reminds me of an Indian instrument called a sarod which has a stainless metal fretboard....

Any tips?....I've looked at the frame etc and guessed that nothing short of a sledgehammer would part the iron frame from the wooden frame...!!!

Yea...sounds familiar, lovely veneered panels and fence posts inside..!! Sorry Bill, the keys, action hammers etc went down the dump some months ago... I had the idea of converting it to a desk, hi-fi cabinet or some such like but I think you'd have to more or less take it apartand reassemble...

No, no fishy smell...!! As far as I remember they are about 4 foot by 2 feet and about 3-4 inches thick..but are made of two blocks about 4 ft by 1 ft bolted together with two ends caps at either end....

Is there anything that can be done with an old Walnut veneered piano....as a Piano it's useless but the veneer is lovely, there is a pine soundboard and what I think is walnut veneer over pine...? G

Hi all New to Forum, someone might be able to help... I have some large blocks of what I believe to be teak. They were used as fish cutters blocks for some years but are generally in good condition. Do they think they have any intrinsic value and if so what as...? Thanks in advance G
