Thanks for the helpful replies, managed to clean enough to be able to see makers marks on the infill; the iron is a Robert Sorby, the adjuster is marked Norris as well as the iron retainer. I've suggested the owner research values but I guess they'll be appearing on Ebay eventually.

I'm thinking of replacing my old SP6000 240v saw with a 36v model, has anyone got one and if so how well does it sit on the track? My old saw is a bit sloppy on the track, I've never been able to eradicate the 1-2mm wobble even with the adjuster washrrs being replaced.
