    transatlantic...pulling in if possible is great help, if not possible, when a gap appears where an ambulance could pass, indicate and slow down toggle as much space as possible for ambulance to overtake......they are not fast we need all the help we can get!

    Should report to ambulance service and make a claim....I have been a paramedic for 23 years...totally unacceptable to drive like that, we are highly trained driving professionals as part of our job.....allegedley !

    What to do - Chainsaw Problem

    Guessing the pin has been overtightened....it moves the bar forward and back but should not be tight as there is a degree of slack in the chain, and once the desired tension is achieved is locked down...if a diy fix is possible would suffice....as is only a moving pin does not hold bar in place....

    Which random orbit sander?

    I researched and looked at prices..was going to buy the Metabo. as had great reviews...however took a very deep plunge and bought the Mirka 5650...probably overkill but had a little windfall before xmas. so treated myself..awaiting arrival......dust, noise and quality were deciding factors

    Have been looking for a drum sander, can see jet axminster and bernardo....ant recommendations or am I better building my own? ...probably maximum of 500mm width required...TIA

    super glue as a plaster

    I am a paramedic and use medical superglue to close wounds on patients...how this differs from normal ca glue i do not know, but is very effective !

    moisture meter...goes off the scale on mine ...24% +...slabs 2" thick 18" + square...will reduce thickness slightly...but need them about the size they are......will store them and wait ..........

    I have just purchased some 2" thick slabs of sycamore, i expected them to be seasoned and ready for use....however they are not...any ways of speeding the drying process or is it a case of stacking them with sticker spacers and seal the ends and let nature take its course........Anyone ever oven...

    Guess nobody has bought one...they made of rubber wood so it says....the largest for around 600 looks good....
