    Dry lubricant for forstner / router bits

    Sharp, clean bits run at the correct speed will not need lubricant. Forstner and sawtooth bits are not designed to run at high speed.

    Yep split fence and always adjusted...maximum support for the workpiece with a 3 - 5mm gap around the cutter. No chance a small work piece can 'dip in' and improved extraction. Why wouldn't you?

    They are not the best but not the worst. Plenty of power but keep an eye on debris fouling the rise and fall mechanism. Roller bed extensions can be sourced for these also.

    The factory in Taiwan will spec the machines the way the customer requires. I would expect the threads to be M33 same as Jet on big machines with the various adapters for those that need.

    Problems buying chisels

    My carving chisels are a mix of Ashley Isles, Kirschen and old stuff picked up from various private sales over the years. The ones to go to first are the Ashley Isles as they do a great range of fish tails which are so useful. My one gripe is the ferrules have not lasted and have split.
