if the pc is worth money to you then i would get the disk, ive been stuck without a disc in the past and my pc went down, i was screwed!! but shop around before you pay big bucks!!

Im going to say tennon for a beginner, lots of practice too :-) like has already been said, just get stuck in and worry about the better tools when you get better.

Hi Bob, I'm currently using a JET band saw with an induction motor on it, Im a novice with reguards to motors so found your write up very informative and helpful in understanding exactly what I'm using. Im happy with the performance of the induction motor!

I had a look at the sites in the main post and one stuck out a mile for me that was waywood really nice site set up too
