I couldn't stand iron on veneer lipping would never use again. Not sure wether it was me or the product i was using. but i had Problems trying to get the stuff to stay on veneered mdf.
I didn't have any problem trimming it afterwards with a a Veritas flush plane
I have some air dried oak that i have sticked in my garage for a few years. Some of the section are not quite big enough for what i have in mind, can any one tell me wether it would be ok to laminate it together to make larger sections?
I would like to use it for a timber framed conservatory...

How do you retain the shelf onto the rods, do you grip fill the the gap within the shelve & push onto rods or do you grip fill back of shelve to wall?
Also can you use polyester resin to fix the rod into studwork
