    Get a map of were you live, pencil and compass. Draw a 10 minute, 20, 30, 40 minute circles. Write a good email, (such as you've done already). Do a mail shot to every tradesman / workshop/allied trades, within those circles. Let them know that you'll knock on their doors in the new year...

    you're right, in my case a good liberal waxing of most items improved their general appearance, and gathered in all those scratches and covered over/brought into line, years of poor colouring and patches, poor repairs......in just a few minutes !

    You finally decide to get everything sharpened properly and when the guy comes from NLS to collect, he rejects the tenon saws.....".we don't sharpen them".
