Sadolin Ultra vs Sadolin Classic vs Sikkens Filter 7 Plus

@RogerM If there is any chance this is still going, how are they performing?

Honestly Sploo I put it off for ages as I was sure I would end up throwing it out the window, but it was pretty seamless. Nice to see even a single wall is strong enough to hold like that! This may be the route I end up going down for my cheapo silverline drill.

Anyone have a 3d printer? USB LED light mount idea

You can exteude flexible filament no problem. It's called TPU. Also regular old PLA can flex depending on the model and the settings so if the design is right it could snap in easily enough to still be secure.

A short (Ha) writeup of my experience moving from an Ender 3 Pro with a BTT SKR Mini E3 V2 and a BTT TFT35 screen, to using a Pi, Mainsail and Klipper. After noticing an unexplainable and apparently unsolveable Y axis banding on my Ender 3 Pro I decided that it was time to look at the famed...

    Filtration revisited

Please do share your results if you remember when the time comes. Mines a 3hp motor with a 300mm open impeller (rather that one with 2 side walls and blades in between) so there is scope to increase my own setup one day. I say that while I have 3 ongoing workshop projects that are in varying...

Collection of 3d printing files relevant for woodworking

For anyone that might be interested, I have now changed over to running my Ender 3 Pro via a 2014 Raspberry Pi 2 (donated by a friend) and using Klipper so I can take advantage of input shaping (less ringing on the sides) and pressure advance (actual corners and not bulges). Strange that it...

    Filtration revisited

Interesting @MikeK. In your position I might be tempted to try and test airflow and static pressure with one of the holes in the plenum blocked off just to see if it makes any difference at all. More filter will always be better of course, but also more expensive to replace should the time come...

    Filtration revisited

That's so strange as they were able to supply me with a larger one than that. Perhaps it is simply filter material dependant. On the subject of the size of the filters, I thought it quite interesting that the Harvey G700 extractor machines only have tiny filters with an apparent material area...

What kind of diameter are you talking? They were able to do the CS type from Nordic upto 600mm or so

Phil have you tried one with holes in to get a bit more airflow though for collection? Or is it not plumbed up?

Sip 01446 12" Table saw details, repairs and review

Yes, that blade adjustment really is the kick in the teeth. I ended up taking a 20x20x40mm block of wood and threading a m8 bolt into it. I then put that into the insert hole and put the head of the bolt against the hinges with the wood end against the other side of the hole. It meant I could...

    Filtration revisited

I wonder if that is just because they usually deal with retailers like DJN. Though you said even they couldn't do what you wanted.

Very late to the reply but did you get anywhere getting some new filters or are you not there yet?

Sip 01446 12" Table saw details, repairs and review

The SIP will be a much cheaper purchase so given the climate that may well feature heavily in your decision making. There are plenty on here that are happy with their 10 or 12" versions of this saw too.

Sip 01446 12" Table saw details, repairs and review

Honestly it has mostly been used as a 250kg workbench more than a table saw thus far 😂 The fence that mine has has a bow in it which doesn't help and as yet I've still not found confidence that I'll get the results from it that I want, so I'm less inclined to use it. I WANT to use it, but also...
