    Turbo Gold screws

Usually stock up myself when this offer comes on and this time bought 3 packs saving £90 and then bought the DeWalt impact driver for £50 and still got a saving of £40... add to the fact that the box of 6 X 100 screws (100) cost £22 individually it would be negligent of me not to take advantage.

    Triton tools

Thanks for all the input everyone who has commented and I may go with the option of watching the lot I have seen and see how it pans out. I have a long list of other machines on my watch list but thought maybe a fully compatible set up would be a good choice but if it is likely to need to be...

    Triton tools

Looking into the possibility but asking about how suitable they are for day to day use as if they are mid range in ability then I will look at going with more able machinery as it is not something I want to buy then find I have to upgrade in 12 months.

    Triton tools

Hi and thanks for the response. Sadly one of the few things not for sale in the listing is an actual router although it does have an unused router table so could pair one up. I will look him up and well informed is well armed as they say, thanks again.

    Triton tools

I have used most brands of tools in my time and now stick mainly to Hilti for work but Hilti don't really do a range of workshop tools so was browsing the usual online auction site and saw a listing for a load of Triton workshop tools including the Workcentres with various attachments. They look...

    name that vice

I have the larger version of this vice and it is a great tool to own. So simple and it was invented by Wilson Riley of Keighley (which is only around 10 miles from me) in 1877. Below is a link.... http://www.smallworkshop.co.uk/2018/03/ ... eous-grip/

    Dovetail Jigs -Leigh,Trend,Axminster ?

Can anyone recommend a good Dovetail Jig for semi proffessional use ? I would be looking for one that can take a fair bit of use because I would be using it for batches of about 20-25 drawer casings a week. I have been looking at the Trend DC400 system and also the Leigh jigs but are they really...

    What job do you do?

Good old fashioned honest and hard working Joiner. Became a fully skilled Slater & Tiler after leaving school and moved into Joinery after 5 years . Self taught and 12 years later I've got my own construction company with a team of 6 tradesmen and do everything from Joinery through to Decorating...

    Accurate Tape Measure ?

Stanley are usually very good. I mainly use an 8 metre Fat Max because a lot of my work is on site but it is also very useful in the workshop because it is quite large and easy to read. The only drawback is that it is quite heavy but genarally I find all the Stanley tapes to be worth buying.
