    You can of course use a hot fill machine as cold fill only by joining both hot and cold hoses to the cold supply utilising a y-piece.

    Presume regs have changed then, I built over simgle skin garage circa 1970 with full council approval. I used single skin blockwork with hanging tiles.

    My first 25 years were spent in a 1939 3 bedroom semi with just one coal fire. Regularly ice on inside of bedroom windows during winter but I don’t recall being miserable. Currently we are using fan heaters in the living rooms and a hot water bottle in bed.

    6 bedroom 1910 3 storey detached, in excess of 2000 sq ft, 3 adults. For the period 13/11/22 to 12/12/22: Gas £71.40p (one gas fire). Economy 7 Electric £283.70p (Immersion heater, 4 fan heaters, appliances). Total £355.10p. We using fan heaters in lieu of central heating. I have track suit...

    110v tools in home workshop

    I use a 110v circular saw but then had it out of a skip! It was ex hire company, only needed new carbon brushes, still going strong after 30+ years! 110v is safer voltage to work with hence it’s use on site but now being replaced by cordless!?

    With respect you had the advantage of knowing that it had already been established that it wasn’t the MAP sensor at fault. A lot of main dealers would no doubt have also initially replaced the MAP sensor!?

    Is the motor actually any nearer to the centre than the bed? If not then maximum bowl size is unaffected. Hard to tell from the photo!
