I had a SIP scroll saw, it packed up just after the warranty ran out, no help from SIP at all, their not interested, so I would not waste money on a tool of this quality, better to save up & buy a tool from a company that do show a bit of care
parcel force have been ok in my area, yodel a different story, I ring the supplier before I order, if their courier is yodel I just say I will not order then, surely that must sink in with a supplier if enough people did this
I'm really sad about what ever is going on at APT, before they altered their website I had 66 previous orders recorded with them, I rated them the best, service, prices, a great company, maybe Richard will appear & tell us what the hell is going on
I don't wish to be derogatory to wards APT on pricing but just check out this one, Makita plunge saw with two rails & other bits D&M tools £329.00, APT £499.96 looks like their having a laugh
I have bought a lot of stuff from axminster they are good a lot of the time, but as always it pays to shop around. I just ordered a cordless circular saw for £120.00, Axminster price is £144.95 both post free & £99.99 post free @ a place I don't trust anymore quite a difference
I must say that I believe Axminster are as good now as they were when I first ordered from them twenty or more years ago, I received my evolution chuck back in january which I must say is the best chuck I've ever owned, I had a slight problem that some jaws that were years old did not connect...
