Thanks, I'm currently doing it on a milling machine at 1000rpm spindle speed and 52mm/minute travel. I can obviously do it a lot faster on a router table then!

Hi, just joined, I'm normally into metal work more, but I've been asked to make some basic parts out of wood that would require the use of a router. I have some (probably) basic questions: Spindle speed seems to be very high, around 10,000 rpm, what is the purpose of this, to get a better cut...

The CCGT inserts that RDGTools sell are good for pretty much everything, from aluminium to EN8 to 6/4 Titanium.

Do you have a drawing of the part, even something rough?
