+ for the Versaflo I have one brilliant pice of kit not just for wood turning also
Was lucky to get on eBay brand new never used fairly cheap - more expensive than my graduate lathe - but I got that very cheaply
I have chiselled them out - very brittle horrible to do flys all over the place and very sharp shards will give it a go with a heat gun next time thanks for the tip
I’ve found Royal Mail and Parcel Force to be good ……. Well compared to Evri when it went wrong with them it was always majorly and trying to get compensation a nightmare
Didn’t realise the change included chisels also just thought it was axes etc
I sell on eBay also around 10 items a week...
It’s a pig to do and loosen/tighten bolts etc
I changed mine over to variable speed motor from my Jubilee, found it helped to lay it on its side and work form underneath with the tapped bolts etc especially the bolts furthest form access hatch
The jubilee motor had a cowling, this clashed...
That’s exactly what I have done picked up a pure dab radio from a local charity shop - got fed up with phone battery being drained with listening through Bluetooth speaker
Sorry can’t help on the copy lathe front have you thought about making you own tooling for the handles (I’m sure you have!) rather than hand turning just a suggestion
Nice website and tools BTW
As above remove table if you can - I collected one in back of estate car laid it on its side tied it down and broke trunnion as described above so on its back if you can’t take table off
