    Shaker style music stand iroko base and legs, maple stand and the music holder is Irish yew, I had a big branch of and bandsawed up. Used osmo dark stain on the legs and base.

    My in laws in Ohio were selling (3.5 acre they had to be) lots in their county for individual homes. Managed to get $30-40k per lot. They laughed when I told them how much 3.5 acres in the country in the UK might go for! Beautiful kitchen that will be and house. Love architectural trim work.

    Latest modern kitchen

    The counter tops are beautiful. I love the way the top of the drawer pull line runs across from the cupboard at one end to the integrated fridge at the other. The two small prison cell windows though above the cooker... ugghhh... and that floor is just an abomination, looks like the kitchen...

    The birch ply in strips makes up angled framework and the mdf glued and pinned to that.

    Sorry I don't and apologies for the description, writing clearly is not my strong point! Basically an angled framework, screwed to the box base and fixed to the wall and then the back is just glued and pinned to that.

    Thanks Bulldog... Back framework is made out of birch ply, pocket screwed together with uprights and horizontal dividers top and bottom and just screwed to the base and then some L brackets into the wall to secure to the wall. The actual back is just a sheet of MDF cut and routed with a v groove...

    Boot room bench for our house... keep the sawdust out of the kitchen when coming from the workshop! :) Painted mdf and sapele seat.

    Made this as a series of birch ply boxes with mdf strips for the panels and a mdf back with v bit grooves.

    Is it me or

    Talked to my local timber yard the other day. He said hard to get AWO or other US hardwoods as they are using nearly all they produce and not exporting as much as their domestic demand is so high. He wouldn't give me a price list as prices are changing weekly.
