Seeking advice on using parf guide system with an HPL top

I did the same. Made some mistakes. Top tip would be to constrain the router fully, leaving just one degree of freedom (don't just use one long fence and just rely on the pressure against it, that's where I went wrong). I cut the first channel very carefully, then 3d printed a jig to use the...

Seeking advice on using parf guide system with an HPL top

I made mine out of HPL using the parf guide mk.1 Made a few mistakes 1. Didn't clamp the jog very well, so the holes are out in certain places (defeated the point of it in some places, really) 2. The top hole is always clean, if you have hpl on the bottom as well, the exit holes tear the HPL...

Quite old but still works. I haven't turned it on in 4 years. So, it has got to go. Don't event remember the grit of the wheels. They will probably need replacing anyway. £20 or near offer. Collection from Haddenham (HP17) or can post at cost.

My first thread….table saw, sander and dust extractor….be gentle….

Same as @Doug B , have a Makita and the dust extraction is really good. But there is also a clear plastic spouty thingy on mine. Did your DeWalt come with one? Sorry, don't mean to infer you aren't using it right, just asking.

Makita RT0702C trim router collet size confusion

Mine came with a 1/4" collect but I also bought an 8mm collect. In terms of router bits, as much as possible, go for the larger dia for the sake of strength under stress. It has almost twice the cross sectional area of the 1/4". But 8mm might be limited in the types of bits available and 1/4"...

That's a new one for me - Glueless joint.

I came across this video snippet where they join wood (looks like beech) using pressure and vibration.

    Where to buy t-track?

I'd sooner buy the tracks from Wood workers workshop than from any other seller / website. But, it is far easier to work with the Microjig Matchfit dovetail clamp system, I'm loving mine and it is actually cheaper and easier overall...
