Been wanting to make one of these for a while had the plans for a long time so I finally finished it mostly made from walnut and oak the gears are birch ply it runs continually but runs a bit fast needs a bit of tweaking but other than that runs fine it is driven by weight I've got it running on...

Girl with flowers I made this for my sister in laws birthday the pattern is judy gale roberts I used food colouring on the hat shoes and bow the stitching on the hat was burnt on

Just finished Elvis second one I've done the hair is ebonised sapele the shirt was coloured with food colouring other woods I used were beech and poplar finished with a few coats of clear satin varnish

Thanks Brian I use fine blades no 1s and go very slowly around the delicate areas I have a variable speed scroll saw which helps
