    i have just been out gto measure mine it is 255mm and does not foul anything post some pictures the 1751 is a long arm version of a 1251 also 255mm

    Anyone used a radial arm saw for ripping lengths of timber

    sadly i agree i modded mine to take alater 1725 gaurd and that includes a riving knife and an anti kickback pawl, with pressure roller mine als will take a full dadostack which i have also used in the rip position, also when setting the table up you need to cut an inverted cove into the table...

    well i use a r.a.s for virtuatly all the work i do, never suffer with kick back when ripping, or poor alinment after saw has been set into rip or miter cuts, initial set up is a pain but once done no problem at all , but then again mie is a solid castiron 1030 square arm from the late 1950's
