Finally got to the box with the original motor in it and it does only have 3 pulley sizes, school obviously being cautious.

I paid £300 for mine, 400v 3 phase from a school, came with a few chisels and faceplates. Converted to 240 volt with new motor, inverter and vari speed controller. Probably stands me at around £6-700 not including chucks.

I have one of these too. Came with a job lot of tool rests. Been wondering for a while what it was for. All I need to do now is work out how to use it.
