I have the same bandsaw as you I am very pleased with it. I must say I have not experienced the issue you describe, my only issue has been that when raising or lowering the blade guard the guides sometimes need readjustment. Its not a big issue, just one of those things.

That's what I was thinking my current vacuum has the same power as a single cam vacuum. Although I do like the cleanable cloth filters

That sounds very interesting I have a cyclone at the minute but was assuming that it was stealing some of the current vacuums efficiency. But I was thinking or hoping it was saving the paper bags and the pleated air filter. If you don't mind what are you using yours for turning or general woodwork?

It never ceases to amaze me how talented some people are, especially when it comes to carving or drawing animals where even the smallest deviation from reality really spoils the illusion.
