I've done it with a couple of mirror keyhole fixings and some pan head screws. Cheap and quick!

How to fix this chair back?

I'm looking for a pretty quick fix on this chair. Is it possible to find brass/metal keyhole screw plates so I fix them over the enlarged holes? What other invisible methods could I use? I'm taking the chair up to my daughters tomorrow so I have today and tomorrow to source the parts and fix.

    BBC Scaremongering again

This is where the bullshit starts - The BBC still require a TV licence if you're viewing any live broadcast. That's not 'live' as in the events are happening right now, but simply the tv channel broadcasting a feed of shows that are being broadcasted at that moment. So even if Sky is not using a...

Roof tiles on a glorified shed - need foundations?

This is one of my outbuildings with red clay tiles. It’s been up 6+ years and there’s be no issues at all, it’s still solid - which surprises me considering the huge sycamore tree a metre away from the foundations. https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/threads/shed-build-wip.83913/
