    Shotblaster and compressor question

Thank you Frank, that's very interesting and it looks as if this might be the answer to my question; it looks as if the design of the blaster's media metering system is crude and inefficient and that with a simple modification the necessary working pressure can be reduced down as low as 25PSI. Shotblaster and compressor question

Hi Chaps, I have assembled a wet bead blaster which works extremely well on aluminium ally castings, except where the component is clogged with burnt-on oil or corroded, pitted and discoloured. With a bit of experimentation I discovered that giving the corroded components a pre-blast of fine...

Pop rivets and pneumatic rivet guns

I can confirm that the Clarke CAT151 from Machine Mart does the job a treat. It set my first batch of rivets in one go and the second batch which were marginally longer required to pulls. The job has been done and I now need to finish sealing it before I can start blasting.

Pop rivets and pneumatic rivet guns

Hi Everybody, my first post on here! I am about to buy a wet bead blaster which requires some self assembly involving 4.8mm stainless pop rivets and some sort of powered rivet gun is highly advisible. Owning a compressor prompted me to look at a number of pneumatic rivet guns and while the specs...
