    Sharpening English Pattern Mortice Bits

Can anyone give advice and/or recommend a machine for sharpening mortice bits? I'm happy sharpening the mortice chisels but cannot find any info on the bits. The bits are English pattern, with two cutting spurs and twin spirals. Many thanks Geoff

Thanks Mike. Thats exactly what I want. :D Hopefully I can find a site in the UK, but I am sure that the US supplier would send them to me if not.

    Turn Buttons

Does anyone know of a supplier of plastic turn buttons in the UK? I have made some glazed cabinet doors and want to use turn buttons inside the door frames to secure the glass in place. I have found brass picture frame turn buttons, but I don't think that these will be up to the job. Cheers :)

    Moisture in wood

First job was to cut through 2.6m lengths of 200*50 green oak. Went through it like butter!! Excellent. I am sure the...

    Hello/Triton opinions

I have had a Triton 2000 for years now and it has done fine service, no doubt having paid for itself many times over, but still quite expensive once you get all the bits!! A couple minus points for me are the depth of cut and the fixed 90degree blade. In fact a real pain!! Big plus is...

    Bandsaw advice please?

First what a great forum. So much info, I am going to enjoy ploughing through it in time. But, it is time to buy a bandsaw, I have put it off for too long now. I have read a lot of the reviews on the forum, all helpful, but I am still not sure. I am not trade but more than hobby. I...
