Workshop blues

I think this is my fourth winter in my single garage workshop and I don't remember it ever being quite as cold as it is now. So cold in fact that glue has gone lumpy and humpy, not wanting to come out to play and my double sided tape has gone brittle!

Yeah, it's a bit of a bummer - it went down to 5c the other day.

Don't try to rescue the glue. Bin it

Just take the glue inside the house. It will be fine after a couple days

Agreed about the glue-bin it.The exception I make is for foaming polyurethane as it seems to be ok with cool storage.PVA lives in the kitchen and epoxy doesn't get used until warmer weather.

I tell a lie - I don't bin it, I use it for painting the ends of blanks, for mixing with mortar and spreading on the garage floor.

Binning is a drastic solution when we don't even know what sort of glue it is . Liquid hide glue, for example, should be fine.

Yes, of course - we're presuming PVA.
