As part of my getting ready for pending workshop move I've been having a good clear out of stuff and now started in the office, so was wondering if I need to keep old insurance documents such as public and employers liability cover if so for how long? some of this goes back 25-30 years so taking up a good bit of space, anyone know the answer?
 
I think any potential claimant has to notify the insurer of the claim within 3 years so if they haven't by then, there is no claim. Check with your insurers before burning all the documents, just in case!
