Had a quick watch, but without sound. Looks like it works well, if all you have is a router table.
He has a bandsaw, though, so I'd just use a Pete Sefton style jig... unless it's for routing mouldings, too?

One of the benefits he mentions is that it's very easy to micro adjust and trim off just a little bit more, which might not be so easy on the bandsaw.
 
I made a circle cutting jig for the bandsaw, and it works very well, but that will definitely give better edging with the router bit.
 
It will still spin like a top if you inadvertently let go of the edge for a micro-second. It's more adjustable than my nail-in-a-piece-of-ply version, but it doesn't solve the inherent control issues.
