Hi everyone,

I recently bought an old black and decker router table and a Parkside router from Lidl. The problem I have is the router appears to require the trigger to be held in to work, meaning I only have one hand free when operating it on the table. Any ideas or do I need a different router?

Can you tape or cable tie the switch to the on position? Might need to include an inline switch or plug into a switched socket or maybe the table has an NVR?

You may need to use a cable tie or similar to hold the trigger in. A lot of routers are like this. The supply to the router is then normally supplied via an NVR switch so that it can be operated without reaching under the table.
