I am thinking of replacing my old router inset (hard plastic of some kind) with an aluminium one. Does any one know of an inset plate that has a three fixing hole configuration.
I Have an Elu MOF 96 ( great little router)
I also have a 1/2 Porter Cable router i got from the States many years ago, this though had three fixing holes.
I drilled my plastic one no problem but the ali ones have webs underneath and sure as eggs is eggs i will hit one if i drill it.

Just get a piece of 6mm or 1/4" aluminium plate from ebay. More than still enough and yet easy to cut/drill and no ribs.
try and get cut/sawn plate not sheared as it tends to be flatter.
