Recommended decking treatment?

Hey, does anyone have a recommendation for decking treatment? It's for a rental cottage, so needs to be safe.

Never had any luck with any decking coating, they all strip off within a couple of months and it looks terrible and patchy.

I find leaving it bare works fine. No hassle no fuss.
