Thank you, I would prefer not to have to to turn it but it's pretty damn close to what I need so as a last resort it would suffice.
 
We use Richard Austin for our aluminium, but the closest on their website is 3/4"x 1/8". How long a bit do you need?

I need to make 30-40 stepped rings about 6mm wide, so allowing for parting off I would probably buy 350-400mm.
If necessary I will just buy 18mm solid, which is what I would do if I was only making a couple, but all that drilling and boring seems an awful lot of work and waste of material if I can buy some tube that is almost the ideal size.
