Has anyone used one of these? They are about £40. I am looking for a drill for a second house in Spain where I only plan to be putting up pictures, putting Ikea stuff together and minor repairs. I am leaning towards the Metabo 10.8v drill and a separate corded hammer drill (I have one spare) as I have the 10.8v drill already and it is by a long shot my most used tool.

I do not want to spend a lot of money... the alternative is another good brand 18v drill, but I think that's going to be £120+ and seems like a lot for something I will rarely use

I am a happy owner of a katsu corded drill - it's just as poorly made and loose as my Bosch one.

Like you, I was looking for a second drill to keep at hand and it seems to work quite well for the price I paid for it (which was about £20 including delivery).
Don't know if the cheap drill batteries would be any good though.

I guess your other alternative is Aldi?
