Just started to prepare the last lot of logs that I received but due to other things needing to be made I could not do them before now. Should get some nice pieces out of these pieces. They are 3 -4" thick and the one 2 1/2" thick remember the slabs are 18" so gives an idea of the width of them.
Well at least that is three of the short ones cut still got three more short ones and 5 long ones to process.
The one at the front and the one behind and too the right with the dark patch running through was a very lucky cut as that area in only 1/4 to 1/2" deep
These two photos what I have got waitong to conver

The photo was taken in my garden Derek, I just couldn't take it in the workshop as the workshop is a foot deep in shavings at the moment. :D Les

Looks quite a haul.

Do you intent to rough turn / dry or leave them to dry as blanks before turning?
