I have recently fitted a Nordan Window. Beautifully made of pine, clad in aluminium to reduce maintenance in my impending dotage.

The inside is factory finished with Azko Nobel XV600 semi-gloss water based clear lacquer. I will be fitting an internal window cill and have a length of (very light) pine very similar to the window.

Would anyone like to suggest a brush ( or even aerosol) finish which might match the original.

Why wouldn't you just use a water-based lacquer? It's commonly available stuff.Ingilby Paints in Glemsford, Suffolk, supply the stuff I use, at about £8 per litre. For just one window, though, you could ask for a sample pot.

Oh, and yes, Nordan make nice windows.
