Top quality combi machine from Luna (who Felder reputedly saw as a rival). SOLD

1993 machine, lightly used by my father as a hobbyist.

3 function combi - saw, spindle, planer thicknesser. Seperate 3hp/2.2kw motor for each function (really good quality motors, you know, when you can hear the quality), electrically switched between functions.

Very heavy rock solid steel base, cast iron tops, heavy duty fences (steel? cast iron? not sure, quite silvery finish on the ground edge of the planer fence - the saw fence has a adjustable aluminium face with a similar casting behind it), SUVA saw guard, proper planer guarding, spindle moulder fence with Shaw hold-downs, designed for sacrificial fencing. Comes with a copy ring for the spindle and a sliding mitre jig, instruction and sales manuals, even the original receipt from Roy Sutton (£3.5k in 1993, with CPI inflation that would be near £7k now).

300m saw, 104mm max depth of cut. 310mm planer x 265mm thicknesser. 3 speeds on the spindle (super easy belt change, takes seconds).

Send me a DM and I can mail more from the instruction manual to genuinely interested parties.

It's been unused for a few years (RIP Dad) and sitting in the unheated workshop so there is some minor surface rust and staining in places. I've given it a brief clean up and once over to ensure all parts are working as they should, which they are. Worst of it was on the spindle spacers and insert rings which were sitting on the workbench - close up of those shown after about a minute with some wire-wool - a bit more elbow grease and they'll polish up nicely I think.

It's a lovely bit of kit and I'd would take it myself in a shot but I just cannot get it into my cellar workshop.

For collection from near Canterbury in Kent, buyer will have to come with help and prepared with equipment to take it away - will need a hand fork machine or rollers etc - with no requests for assistance to be made to my mother! There's only one step to negotiate fortunately. It splits in two for transport.

Any questions DM me.

Thanks

Jake

Hi yes it is - I've just seen my second placeholder post was a bit misleading probably!
