Cutting Carbon Fibre sheet

Car wing mirror covers are made from ABS. They are very tough, but much of the strength comes from the curved shape.

Car bumpers are made from PP/EPDM copolymer which is very soft and flexible and would be useless in flat sheets as it is too floppy until you get to quite thick panels 4mm up.

I would go with the ABS. Straight lines can be scored and snapped. It has a low Ish melting point, so cutting with a jigsaw can lead to melting, you will need to experiment with technique. You might want a deburring tool to clean up the edges, even just for the fun, they produce lovely curls of plastic if you run them along a cut edge.

Knife for scale. Yours if they're any use. They're unused but not carbon fibre or anything fancy.
