Transatlantic...
I spent 59 years in the UK, I was cold and miserable for at least 57 of them.
Aint no way I'm going back till I'm unable to care for myself here. =D>
Or untill global warming actually does warm the country up.
(25 c today, shorts and t shirts, enough said? (hammer) )

DAMN!
Axminster have come back with a number thats way too high for my pension.
not enough change from a grand to buy me a fish and chip supper.
Shipping has doubled since I bought the bandsaw. TNT must have caught on.

Now I'm going to have to troll the local shops and find the best deal I can.
Oh well..

Scheppach HS105!

You might want to try FFX. They do delivery to Turkey on a Dewalt Tablesaw (DW745) for £140. Cyprus isn't listed specifically, but if you ring they might be able to sort something.

Want me to slip a nice vintage Wadkin in my luggage for you Bob? You’ll have to wait until August mind...

Just looked around FFX, interesting.

The schappach looks ok, but I had my heart set on a cast iron table and adjustments that did not involve crawling underneath.
Once I have definite prices for local stuff i will go back and compare.

yes please memzey, I'll put 20 quid in for the extra weight charge, oh all right, AND another beer. You drive a hard bargain.

I saw the scheppach 120 kit that looked reasonable, but then I saw this video

and although as always he makes more out some things than they are, overall i think I'll pass.

Fair enough. I'd love a cast iron top too.

I know others swear by the Scheppach TS, but I don't think the quality is up to snuff on the cheaper Scheppach stuff. Especially if this is a second time purchase.

I have the Basa 3.0 bandsaw, which you might classify as mid range. It is fine - nice cast iron table. Some of the higher end Scheppach stuff is also very good. But I've seen the budget stuff in trade shows and shops and I'd say it is some way off the pace compared to say a Metabo or a Dewalt.
