Veritas hardware kit for spokeshaves

Hi all,

Axeminster and classichandtools used to sell the Veritas hardware kit for spokeshaves (link below) but it seems they stopped selling those. I have searched other websites but cant find any retailer in UK selling those.

Would you have any idea/link where I could find those ? I really would like to make one, seems to be a nice little project !

fine-tools.de (Dieter Schmid) have the kit. Not sure how much the shipping from Germany would be.

Thanks, I will have a look at Fine-tools. I think the shipping cost isn't bad from there (for the moment...)

NOt sure about ordering from LeeValley. Shipping costs from Canada might be more than the kit itself !

Nice, I have thought about this kit as well. Please share your thoughts on the kit, and it would be nice to see some pics of the build as well!

I have built a spokeshave with a Ron Hock blade and its my go to shave.

Just saw the Ron Hock kit. I will check it tonight, but will most probably go for the Veritas one. And for sure I will post a picture of it, but I'm very slow so don't expect an update soon !
