Hi,
I'd like to replace the headstock sealed bearings on my Emco Unimat 3, they are 40 years old and the casing is dented.
Does anyone know exactly what size they are and where to get them ?
I read this page already, but no reply from seller so far.

Thanks, Ben.

You could always give these guys a try

I've bought some parts and accessories for my Unimat 4 from them and the guy there is very knowledgeable.

To follow up, the set of 2 bearings from Pro Machine Tools arrived.
Great quality designed and finished in Austria, good price.

I found it tricky to fit the new bearings since the sprung washers exert a heap of force outwards.
The spindle kept moving toward the tailstock, so I used the Emco vice on the lathe to block the spindle from moving that way. Using the circlip pliers to position the circlip on the spindle whilst pulling the new bearing into the washers needs a quite a strong grip. Final position on circlip into the spindle groove was with fingernails standing the tailstock side of the assembly.
The result is at least I know the bearings are new now....which they may have been when I bought the lathe but I hadn't considered that......lesson learned.
Not easy !
