My bad eye sight.
Whenever I need a finish of 22 I aim for the double 12.
I usually end up with a double 11 with that method. :roll: :? :?

One of the main characters is a professional darts player. He gets annoyed at the use of the term "triple", as it should be "treble".
Funny, but strange book. As are most of Martin Amis's.

OK, I'll get sucked into this one.

If I have thrown two darts already and I am left with only 1 able to score, then is that the lowest score I cannot score as it wouldn't count, as it is counted but not actually scored?

Or is it 42?

I think some of you are over thinking it. Unless it's a trick question, then it must be either 23 or 0, depending on the definition of "board".

And since you have two more to throw, the lowest score would be a Complete Miss... which is zero, I believe. Don't think you can get lower than that! :lol:
