hi just thought id let people know ive sourced a guy who selling all his exotic wood from around the world and normal wood stock as hes moving etc,hes even been selling his machinery.
he's based in witton gilbert in county durham about 20 mins from me
he had an ad on gumtree, had views but I was the only one so far who went thru to get some
I said i'd let people know as they might get some nice pieces.
he has bits set out in large bread baskets and priced for each one but I guess anyone can get what they want.
the one I picked out had, yew,black walnut(usa), oak, pau amerelo, ekki, king wood,sonikling rosewood,pink ivory,
sycamore,holy and laburnum plus other bits.
I got them for £30. some of the thicker bits im gonna slice up to thinner pieces in our factory
not sure if I can put his number on here but I have it if anyones interested
