Hi all,
Just been browsing some turning sites and came across someone using old shower curtains to keep wood chips and dust from the lathe off other surfaces. Could also be good for keeping condensation off machinery? I thought that was worth sharing.

Plastic may be OK for shedding water drips but in itself rather poor at preventing condensation damage as it's prone to condensation forming on its inner surface and in turn dripping on machines if it chills down.

Cotton fabric or an old cot blanket, mattress cover etc. that in itself has some insulation properties are more likely to keep any machine warmth in and prevent colder air from getting to it.
