I saw a video on YouTube and thought it was soooo cool, so I had to make one (so I don’t claim any credit for the way it works).

This is my version, made from 4000yr old Bog Oak, English Boxwood, some curly Ash (saved from my parents’ firewood pile) and used some Oak Burr offcuts for the numbers...

It doesn’t work flawlessly, sticks a little at a few numbers, but I’m still very pleased, and so is the recipient (my dad). It’s probably best understood in this short video I posted on FB...

By that's cracking. Especially now I have seen the videos to find out how it works. Another on my 'one day' list. Thanks for posting this, and taking the time to make a video.
