Allows for raising and lowering the router from above the table. Substantial table to support work. Dust extraction to rear of fence.
All in all a good robust piece of kit with fine adjustment.
I have been using it with a Dewalt 625E 1/2 inch router. Other makes can be used but some diligence in checking compatibility might be advisable. I have a list of some of major brands but may be outdated now.
