Headstock adapter

Hi I have a tyme Avon lathe with a m25-2 thread I am struggling to get a chuck to fit this I have looked for an adapter but can’t find anyone who carries this size. Has anyone got any advice and any leads I can try.
I have a face plate that screws on can a chuck be screwed to this?

If you have someone local who can do a bit of simple machining for you, you can mount a VersaChuck body to your faceplate via its ISO location socket and three fixing bolts.

It is essential that the thin attached location spigot is machined accurately to run true with the faceplate axis and a good diameter fit with the chuck socket.


You are in effect simulating a standard ISO chuck backplate.
