FD Blades

I know that FD blades can be purchased via mikesworkshop.com in the USA but he buys them from Germany! Is there a UK/European supplier so that the blades are not shipped to the UK via the USA?

I don't know of a UK supplier. I know of one in Canada, but that isn't really advancing this conversation.

There is a German blade retailer, but I don't know if the blades are FD. It's an interesting website, though, and you can visit it here.

Hi John,

Not that I am aware of - Mike also buys them in bulk so passes on savings that way. Couple this with the exchange rate being almost $2 to the £ and the lack of import duty (well I have never paid any) and they really are not that expensive. Delivery is only a couple of dollars and for the quality I am happy to wait the week or so they take to arrive

Buy a selection and see how you get on with them - I have yet to find anything better to be honest!
