Desktop Laser Engravers

Hi,

I want to get a laser engraver to print my logo onto wood. Most of the time it will be Oak or Ash.

Does anyone have any experience or know what they are looking at with these. It seems to be a minefield with all the different models and prices. Mixed reviews and I don't know what one to get. Im looking at a max of £150.

Any comments would be appreciated.

If its only a logo you wish to emboss I would look to get a branding iron made up and buy a gas torch.

Was a little worried about the heat to be honest. Too hot and it could catch fire and too cold it won't burn. Saying that I've never used one so I don't know.

Practice makes perfect, the American cowboys used to use one on leather on the hoof.
