Wanting make up a tannic acid solution as a rust converter. Don't need a huge amount as I don't plan on soaking parts, this is more for prevention on parts I have mechanically de-rusted or for awkward/detailed areas. I just plan to paint it on.

Found it in wilko today, £4.50 for 50g, seemed a little steep.

Only time I bought any it was from some web home-brewing shop, can't recall price but might be worth a look.
