My wife bought a little shed last year we put it up and treated it to a coat of Protek garden stain. Never used it before being a fan of Sadolin but it went on easily and looked the part. She bought enough to give it an extra coat this summer. I opened the tin today after giving it a shake which felt odd to discover a huge mass of plasticky gunge.
Is this a shelf life issue or storage or something else?
Thanks

Maybe fill a pot of boiling water and sit the tin in it for a bit, giving it a good stir. I've no idea if it will help, but sometimes warming something can sort it.

Sent a message to Protek but it doesn’t allow pictures so seems a bit pointless and not had any response yet
Regarding boiling it I think it’s a bit far gone for that as it is like a huge lump of plastic. I will try a bit in boiling water and see if it changes at all!
